No 3 BEARâ„¢ Peckett & Sons, No 614 of 1896 0-4-0ST
˜Bear™ came to the railway in August 1971 from storage at the Scottish Railway Preservation Society at Falkirk. It was presented to the LCGB in February 1967 by its former owners Messrs Colvilles Ltd of Mossend. It is the oldest surviving standard gauge Peckett loco in England. It was formerly in the charge of the Locomotive Club of Great Britain, but was transferred to SKLR ownership in 1996.

This locomotive will be reproduced in model form by Hornby in 2020. A little late but available in January 2022 (we hope)

Status: Static exhibit  undergoing cosmetic restoration
